INFORMATION GOVERNANCE OFFICER
Salary £23,111 - £27,358 plus 3% performance related pay
Following the introduction of the new Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in May, we are looking to expand our team of information governance specialists.
Reporting to the Information Governance Manager you will assist in the delivery of high quality services to our clients. The role includes providing advice on data protection matters, responding to information requests and completing ad-hoc project work.
You should be able to manage your own time, develop good working relationships with clients and be able to communicate effectively. You should also be confident, excellent at identifying solutions and be willing to question and challenge established practices.
The successful candidate should hold relevant data protection qualifications. Practical experience of handling Freedom of Information and Subject Access requests would also be an advantage.
The package includes membership of a company pension scheme, performance related pay, generous leave entitlement and flexible working arrangements. The post will be based at either our Northallerton or York office, and will involve some travel.
