INFORMATION GOVERNANCE OFFICER

Salary £23,111 - £27,358 plus up to 3% performance related pay

As a result of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) being introduced, we are looking to expand our team of information governance specialists.

Reporting to the Information Governance Manager you will assist in the delivery of high quality services to our clients.  The role includes providing advice on data protection matters, responding to information requests and completing ad-hoc project work.

You should be able to manage your own time, develop good working relationships with clients and be able to communicate effectively.  You should also be confident, excellent at identifying solutions and be willing to question and challenge established practices. 

The successful candidate should hold relevant data protection qualifications. Practical experience gained within the public sector would also be an advantage.  

The package includes membership of a company pension scheme, performance related pay, generous leave entitlement and flexible working arrangements. The post will be based at either our Northallerton or York office, and will involve some travel.

TRAINEE INFORMATION GOVERNANCE OFFICER

Salary £18,672 - £21,074 plus up to 3% performance related pay

As a result of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) being introduced, we are looking to expand our team of information governance specialists. This role represents an excellent opportunity to train for a professional career in the public sector.

Reporting to the Information Governance Manager you will assist in the delivery of high quality services to our clients and undertake training to become a public sector information governance specialist.  The role includes providing advice on data protection matters, responding to information requests and completing ad-hoc project work.

The package includes membership of a company pension scheme, performance related pay, generous leave entitlement, flexible working arrangements, and supported study leave.

You should hold a good degree (or be in the final year of your degree course) or have equivalent specialist knowledge. You should also be outgoing, enthusiastic and self-motivated, be willing to work with others in a team environment and have good interpersonal skills.

The post will be based at our Northallerton office but will involve some travel.
