About Veritau Limited
Veritau comprises two companies, Veritau Limited and Veritau Public Sector Limited.
Veritau Limited was formed in 2009, after the former North Yorkshire County Council and City of York Council came together following close collaboration between their two internal audit teams.
Today, Veritau Limited provides assurance services to a large and growing number of clients across the country. Our main services include:

Max Thomas
Chief Executive
Max is the Chief Executive of Veritau, and he played a key role in helping to establish the business in 2009. He trained as a Chartered Accountant in the private sector before moving into an internal audit role in the public sector. He has over 30 years of experience in both the private and local government sectors, providing internal audit and other assurance related services. Max is also treasurer for the Local Authority Chief Auditors' Network.
