We’re looking for a Trainee Internal Auditor to undertake a training programme which will lead to membership of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors.

This role represents an excellent opportunity to train for a professional career in the public sector.

Reporting to the Audit Manager, you will assist in the delivery of high quality risk-based audit services across a wide ranging portfolio, gaining experience of local authority service delivery.

As a result of continued expansion of the business, we’re looking to recruit an additional Information Governance Officer.

The role includes providing advice on data protection matters, responding to information requests and completing ad-hoc project work.

You should be able to manage your own time, develop good working relationships with clients and be able to communicate effectively. You should also be confident, excellent at identifying solutions and be willing to question and challenge established practices.

Our successful candidate should hold relevant data protection qualifications. Practical experience of handling Freedom of Information and Data Subject Access requests would be an advantage.
