As a result of continued expansion of the business, we’re looking to recruit an additional Information Governance Officer.

Reporting to the Information Governance Manager, you will assist in the delivery of high quality services to our clients. The role includes providing advice on data protection matters, responding to information requests and completing ad-hoc project work.

You should be able to manage your own time, develop good working relationships with clients and be able to communicate effectively. You should also be confident, excellent at identifying solutions and be willing to question and challenge established practices.

The successful candidate should hold relevant data protection qualifications. Practical experience of handling Freedom of Information and Data Subject Access requests would be an advantage.

The role includes developing action plans and policies, supervising staff and providing training and specialist advice.

The ideal candidate should hold relevant qualifications in data protection and information governance. You should also have an in-depth knowledge of data protection and related legislation, and its application within the public sector.
