Celebrating Veritau’s 2026 photography competition winners

Veritau’s employee photography competition returned for another fantastic year in May, and once again, our colleagues showed just how creative and talented our workforce is.
Since launching in May 2023, the competition has encouraged employees from across the organisation to share photographs that capture the regions we support and the services we provide. It’s always a highlight seeing our inbox fill up with images from all over the country; every entry brings something unique.
All submissions were reviewed by a panel of three colleagues, who had the tough job of choosing 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. With so many brilliant photographs this year, selecting the winners certainly wasn’t easy.
We revealed the winning images at our company-wide training and development day at the beginning of July, and we’re excited to share them with you now.
We hope you enjoy seeing the results, the range and quality of the photographs really do show the enthusiasm and imagination of our team.
1st place – Hackness Bench, Scarborough
2nd place – Upsall, North Yorkshire
3rd place – Bishopthorpe Palace, York
4th place – Hackfall Woods, Nidderdale, North Yorkshire.
