How long does this e-learning course take to complete?

This course takes around 30 minutes to complete.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

When using the Veritau Learn platform, each member of staff will automatically receive a certificate to evidence their training once they complete a course.

How often should users complete this training?

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) states that all staff should complete data protection training at least every 2 years, as a minimum.

Staff could complete the refresher course biennially or when an individual has been responsible for a data breach.

Who is the intended audience for this e-learning course?

This course is intended for all staff in school or multi-academy trust setting, who have previously completed the Data Protection for School Employees module.
