At Veritau we invest in our people and that extends to helping our communities. By supporting staff to donate blood in work time whether they are in office or working remotely we hope to encourage more blood donations in a range of locations and communities.
Veritau recognises the importance of giving blood, which helps to save lives in emergencies and for those needing long-term treatment. By giving blood, you can contribute to a vital public service and help ensure that hospitals have the supplies they need when it matters most.

Jo’s Experience
Joanne Atterton, Information Governance Manager, regularly donates blood and has a rare blood subgroup. She recently reached the 25th blood donation milestone.
“I’m really pleased that Veritau supports us to donate blood during the working day. It’s a small act for each of us, but together it has a significant impact, and I appreciate that Veritau values that. I have friends and family who have needed blood transfusions to help them through surgeries, treatments, and unexpected complications. These experiences have made me aware of how crucial it is to have a reliable supply of blood available; not just in emergencies, but whenever it’s needed.
