Our rebrand and new website
2 April 2021
We’re pleased to launch Veritau’s rebrand and new website.
Established in 2009, Veritau is a local government shared service providing assurance to the public sector. With over 500 clients and 70 members of staff, we’ve expanded significantly in the last few years.
This felt like an opportune time to give our brand a refresh and modernise our visual identity.
We celebrated our 10th anniversary two years ago, and have seen a period of sustained growth in the business despite financial pressures on the public sector.
Last year saw us take on three new member councils and set up a new group company. We’ve expanded our client base, office locations and also our service offering.
Our new visual identity
Veritau’s new visual identity reflects our brand values:
- Impartial
- Knowledgeable
- Trustworthy
- Rational
- Professional
Veritau combines the best of private sector flexibility and innovation with public sector commitment. Our aim is to provide a range of cost-effective services which are highly regarded and add value for our clients.
Dark blue and pale green have been chosen as our main colours. Blue is often used to convey intelligence, professionalism and trustworthiness, while the green provides a good contrast and represents vitality and reliability.
We’ve chosen a simple wordmark logo with a triangle shape which signifies strength and stability, and fits well with the letter ‘V’ in Veritau.
Our new font palette consists of Trebuchet MS and Verdana, both chosen for their readability, particularly on computer screens.

Our Chief Executive, Max Thomas, said:
“We’re really pleased to present our new branding and website, and feel that it represents our identity as a company. We’ve aimed to create a clean and modern look which reflects who we are, the services we provide and what our clients can expect from us. We launched Veritau in 2009 but a lot has changed since then.
“We now offer a wider range of services to many more clients, and those services are now delivered across the UK rather than just locally. We therefore thought it was a good time to refresh both our branding and website to reflect these changes. We hope you like the result!”
