Salary £19,554 - £21,589 plus up to 3% performance related pay.

We are looking for a trainee internal auditor to undertake a training programme which will lead to membership of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors. Reporting to the audit manager you will assist in the delivery of high quality risk-based audit services across a wide ranging portfolio, gaining experience of local authority service delivery.

The package includes membership of a company pension scheme, performance related pay, generous leave entitlement, flexible working arrangements, and supported study leave.

You should hold a good degree (or be in the final year of your degree course) or have equivalent specialist knowledge. You should also be outgoing, enthusiastic and self-motivated, be willing to work with others in a team environment and have good interpersonal skills.

The position will be based at our or York office and will involve some travel.
